A WORD FROM OUR CHAIRMAN
Since its establishment, Yayasan Munarah has been committed in helping the underprivileged and marginalized by channelling aid into areas such as poverty alleviation, education, healthcare and special needs as well as individuals.
Education, poverty alleviation, healthcare and special needs. Over the years, we have steadily grown our impact through multiple programmes and initiatives which are primarily focused in Negeri Sembilan, where we are located. This report provides an overview of our journey so far.
Due to our close ties with the community, government agencies and other NGOs, we are often fortunate to be able to respond quickly to provide assistance in times of need, as seen in our flood relief efforts. At the onset of the pandemic, we concentrated our resources in healthcare, supporting hospitals and frontliners to mitigate the effect of Covid-19. The unprecedented challenges from the pandemic highlighted that we all have a role to play in ensuring that no one gets left behind.
My sincere appreciation goes to all of our collaborators, volunteers and donors for their continued support that has enabled us to better serve the community. We hope to extend our reach and maximise our impact by working with various stakeholders to make a positive difference in society. Since October 2021, the entire 100% of all cost of running the foundation day to day is borne by the Negeri Sembilan Royal Family. As a result, donations now go straight to the causes being supported.
